after googling for a while, i found out that it is so easy to disable the nag screen of WGA (e.g. see here).
seriously, there is no need to install update KB509474. all it does is to install the nag screen package only. you can just ignore and exclude it from the update list (er… this applies to manual updates only).

如何干掉WGA的方法
在四月公布的WGA补丁（KB905474）很笨的，有很多漏洞。要解决它有太多方法了！我这里说的解决有两种意思：
a. 彻底将它连根拔起。
b. 把它留在系统，不过把它的功能都封了！
除了sam的system restore（系统还原），以下是几个有效及方便的招式：
1。连根拔起
当你安装KB905474时，它在你的系统加了几个文件：
a. wgatray.exe
b. wgalogon.dll
c. legitcheckcontrol.dll
方法
1。用windows task manager （按ctrl + shift + esc键把它叫出来）把wgatray.exe关掉
2。重启windows时进入safe mode。将以下的文件删掉：
c:\windows\softwaredistribution\download\6c4788c9549d437e76e1773a7639582a
c:\windows\system32\WgaTray.exe
c:\windows\system32\dllcache\WgaTray.exe
c:\windows\system32\wgalogon.dll
c:\windows\system32\dllcache\wgalogon.dll
c:\documents and settings\All Users\Application Data\Windows Genuine Advantage\data\data.dat （这是隐藏的文件夹）
3。进入注册表（registry，用regedit）, 把在以下注册表里的"WGALOGON"文件夹删掉。
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\
4。重启windows。
注意：以上的方法是彻底把KB509474除掉。意思是说你下次用windows update时，它还是会出现在更新表里！不要把它下载或安装即可。 还有，如果你要用windows update的话， 记得把legitcheckcontrol.dll以破解版本覆盖！
2。WGA功能。封！
这是把KB905474安装后封掉其功能的方法。

c:\windows\system32\WgaTray.exe
c:\windows\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll
原理是把wgalogon.dll的执行权（execute bit）废掉，因为wgatray.exe需要wgalogon.dll来执行检查工作。把wgalogon.dll的执行权废掉令winlogon在启动视窗时无法执行任务。由于WgaLogon是负责执行WgaTray.exe的，所以因为无法执行WgaTray.exe连popup也不见了 （真的好废哦。。）。
方法
1。如你用Simple File Sharing，请先把它关掉！
2。要把wgalogon.dll的执行权（execute bit）废掉的话，请在windows explorer打开wgalogon.dll的properties， 然后打开Security页。
3。按Advanced钮,把在下面的Inherit box钩去掉。当有画面出现时，按dialog上的Copy钮, 再按OK.
4。把properties里每个户口/组合的"Read & Execute"权除掉, 只留下"Read"权（注意：是每一个户口/组合！这一步骤要重复几次的）。
5。按OK把改了的值保存。关掉properties dialog。重启机子。
千万记得：把在以下文件夹里的data.dat改装：
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Windows Genuine Advantage\data
用notepad打开并清空data.dat里的内容，然后把它的值改为"Read Only"（只读）。
