The no [AUTO DETECT] here U mean is Win98 even does not prompt you the message like [New Hardware found. . . ]??? then it could be also your PC USB port got problem or your USB reader is defective one?? U got try the USB reader in another PC or not?? U you got try another USB port at your PC??
Also don’t use those USB extension cable, try direct plug it to your USB port at the motherboard behind the casing.

应该没问题。。。我用USB BLUE TOOTH 时都没问题哦～
