erm…ok let me explain for u
how is ur brother results???
if ur brother’s results is very good, or many can say like ok, higher than average…
then ur brother can choose form6, study 1 n half year, then can enter university… is very good…
but got some impact:
1, if STPM results no good, he may not be able enter local uni
2, ipoh dunhave uni, he have to go the nearest 1 is USM(penang), but u wanna enter this uni, ur results must be very good, or either kl, kedah, sabah, johor n etc.
3, ur brother is chinese
4, once u can enter uni, ur brother mayb cannot study that subjects which ur brother wished…
5, when ur brother completed 5 years, graduated get the cert from local uni, it will be fine, n well-known in malaysia. but singapore or others countries doesnt recognize this, unless ur brother will go for furthur studies to get master or ph.D from overseas, then it will be helpfull for his future career…
however, this is jus the study problems, there also have some personally problems, n enviromental problems, but these 2 problems is depending on the attidude of ur brother…
these is few impacts of choosing form6…
if ur brother is choose private college…
he can choose the subjects which he likes, somemore, he may studying overseas courses, example like, ACCA, ABE CIM n etc…
UK courses may more famouse than the local 1, n well-known in worldwhile, every countries also recognize it, coz it is good quality of certificate which u get…
so…let say, me n ur brother, both also graduated as degree, me is UK’s degree, ur brother is local’s degree, n both of us go for interview a same company together, i can tell u, i will get hired chances is higher than ur brother…
so…this is y most of the students choose for private college more than local, provided family cannot support it…
also have few impacts:
1, if u study for overseas course, u have to pay exam fees n pay on the currency of that country, may b expensive…
2, every year mayb onli have 2 sittings of exam.
3, mayb dunhave assignment to do for help u pass the exam, onli sit n write the answer for exam… n etc
so…is also have to depends on the situations…
so…this is wat i can say here…

the 1 thing u nid consider to study local Uni is u must get good result to get the course u wan.
Private college not bad if u can choose cleverly. it will involve ur interest course(coz some of course cant found in M’sia), financial (it nid high cost even study 3+0 course at least 40k+), chance to go foreign, culture (u can enjoy different culture if the college is larger and hv many foreign student).
Too many thing nid considered. Depend what situation u at now.

local onli will provide so called GOOD SERVICEs for thouse malay onli…
If got money support, then can go in the private collage after form 5, no need to waste 2 years in form 6. but when lack of money support, no choice have to study in form 6 and try my luck to get in the local university. if can’t get in, then have to start work lo
我个人觉得如果有信心在STPM中拿到全科A，还有上大学所选择的科系是冷门的话！！！！那就进F6
不然的话就不要进F6会后悔！！！
