Leggings, tent-shaped tunic dresses, checks, big shades: some of the trends seen on the New York spring/summer 2007 catwalk were already in evidence in the front row by the time London Fashion Week came around. The weather just held out long enough for everybody to show off this season’s essential white patent shoes and broderie anglaise dresses as they queued up outside the tents at the Natural History Museum, with TopShop still making the most regular grade to accessorise the high fashion choices.
