WinXP, right? windows task manager the second page [processes] there got show you the memory usage of each software one, check see which software suck up so much memory. . .
BTW, it is quite normal for a notebook usage 300Mb when just boot up, it depends on how you configure WinXP, my notebook when boot up also 300Mb+, after run IE + Firefox + MSN will grow up to 600Mb+, but never bump up to 1Gb, anyway I never notice the lag also coz my notebook got 2Gb RAM, hehe.

For normal user and non gamer 2Gb is more then enough liao loh. . .
But 1 thing I feel weird is still got a lot of stupid branded notebook equip their notebook with 512Mb, some even preloaded with Vista Home. . . really WTF, wat for to save the RM40 cost to make a [slow] notebook. . . really stupid. . .

the most is IEXPLORE.EXE lo , 69540k is normal ma
oo , i tot is abnormal , ^^ run IE and internet exe and msn mine just boot up to at least 380 or maybe 420 somethings , feel weird … 1GB is just because of reply and c post at forum , just opn and reply opn and reply… then after 20-30 minute later , it boot to 1GB , and become lack jor ,last time using PC wont have those problem , now using laptop feel likes hav a limit there… ^^ ,myb i should add more GB RAM ? haha …
